Abby hung out with our neighbor and her rescue beagle, Porthos. The girls had a nice morning and went for walks. Abby is really great with other dogs and I'm hoping this one-on-one experience will help any loneliness she may feel.
I knew that Abby likes kids but she'll stop if she sees one. Her tag starts wagging and she likes to say hello. We met a very cute 2 year old in the elevator and he giggled with glee after seeing her.
It was wonderful to see.

Hey, I know it's been a long long time since you updated this blog but I am the woman who adopted Abby Rose (since named Dolly). She is 13 now and living with me in Toronto, Canada, and spoiled rotten. Has truly been the sweetest, loveliest companion. We love her so much. She has had a few health scares (mammary gland tumours, very common in dogs who were not spayed til later in life) and she has some bad arthritis. Plus we have discovered, via various X-rays, that she has a lot of buckshot all over her. So she must have lead quite a crazy life before she ended up in the shelter.
